Janet Nami McIntyre

Janet joined the Resilience Initiative in September 2022 as the first full time Executive Director of the Resilience Initiative. Janet brings over 25 years experience in the nonprofit sector as a leader, an experienced consultant and coach, and previously served as a capacity coach at LeadersTrust, our sister organization.

For the past 10 years Janet was VP of Programs for Executive Service Corps, where she curated leadership learning, cohort programs, and coaching offerings for organizations and leaders. Most importantly, she brings deep knowledge, respect, and love for social justice organizations and their leaders, along with a collaborative and generous spirit that infuses all that she does.

Michelle Mengel

Michelle is the operations and program manager of the Resilience Initiative. Michelle is an independent consultant to nonprofits and foundations specializing in financial analysis, operations, program management, and evaluation. Previously, she worked for 10 years as a community development practitioner for the Washington, DC Local Initiatives Support Corporation (DC LISC). During her time at LISC, she provided strategic grants, loans, and resource brokering to community based organizations in Washington, DC.

Deepti Gudipati

Deepti is the grants program manager at the Resilience Initiative, where she works to support grantees and connect them to program resources.  She is also the founder of DG Leadership Solutions.  Through DGLS, she works with a variety of organizations and leaders to deliver leadership coaching, consulting and facilitation. 

She brings over a dozen years of experience in leadership and organizational development. In that time, she has demonstrated an ability to coach across cultures, develop transformational programs, facilitate powerful conversations, and coach leaders at all levels – all for the sake of building organizations that work better, together.
